Recently, I was talking with a friend about the late 1960s rumor that Paul McCartney was killed and replaced with a look-alike impostor. Supporting the rumor were dozens of clues strewn across Beatles albums (in both the artwork and recorded content). My friend had never heard about the hoax, so I directed him to a fan-website with a couple of pages on the event. He then stumbled upon some videos around the internet which led me to literally tens (perhaps a hundred or more) videos on the subject showing to me that the decades-old conspiracy is alive and well.
Here is a documentary in 5 parts on the original story which analyzes several supporting clues:

And clips like these which hint that the conspiracty theroies are far-from old news:

I found many videos attributed to cryptic names suggesting Beatles folklore (Iamaphoney, malevans, neilaspinal, Billy Shepherd, JamesPaulMcCartney, etc) which were infuriatingly cryptic besides being slickly-produced.
I could have spent an entire day watching this stuff.
